The Music - The Munsick Boys
The Munsick Boys have become a staple in the field of western entertainment. This Sheridan, Wyoming, family has been making music together since dad Dave could get his three sons to fit their hands around a guitar neck. All now accomplished musicians in their own right, each member of The Munsick Boys writes, sings, and plays multiple instruments, joining forces to forge new directions in western roots music. This is a kind of music that they call Western Americana, where each member of the band writes their own musical versions of the western lands that they call home. Tris’s compositions have been nominated for album of the year by Wyoming Public Radio as well as song of the year by the Rocky Mountain Country Music Association, and Sam’s working cowboy life brings authenticity to everything he sings.
Together, The Munsick Boys have a sound - a harmonic blend of open sky folk, roots country and rhythmic pop with a western edge. A long-standing favorite among family-oriented audiences, their sound has caught on like range fire among the younger set. They have opened for bands including Lyle Lovett and Suzy Bogguss, have headlined festivals in the US and Europe and were voted as the 2016 Western Band of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists in Fort Worth, Texas.

Retired Lieutenant Colonel
Stephen C. Davis
I reside in Pewee Valley, Kentucky with my wife of 45 years, Robin. I retired from the Kentucky Army National Guard in 2013, after nearly 32 years service. I am Commander of American Legion Post #39 and a Board member for the Veterans Memorial Park of Kentucky.
During my National Guard service, I attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I served several tours in Washington D.C., in support of the National Guard’s the Civil Support Team (CST) Weapons of Mass Destruction counter terrorism response force program. I was the National Guard CST program manager before returning to Kentucky to Command the 41st Civil Support Team. While in Washington, in addition to supervising the execution of $15 million budget, I worked extensively on policy matters including executive and legislative changes to improve the CST program’s support to the American people.
My other assignments included one tour in Afghanistan, Detailed Inspector General, Regimental Adjutant, National Guard Bureau Science Officer, Chemical Officer, and Company Commander. My awards and decorations include a Bronze Star (Meritorious Service) and three Meritorious Service Medals.
I was born in LaGrange, Kentucky in 1961 and graduated Oldham County High in 1979. I received a Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Louisville, with majors in chemistry and biology, in 1984. I received a Doctorate from the University of Louisville, in biochemistry in 1993. I spent two years in postdoctoral training at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, in Baltimore, MD, studying the interactions of cocaine with brain receptors. More recently I earned a Bachelor of the Arts from Bellarmine University, with emphasis on the visual arts.
Kash Hancock
Kash was born right here in Sheridan on October 14, 2014. Kash is the youngest of 3 children. At a young age, Kash had many interests, including animals and sports, but most of all DINOSAURS.
Kash enjoyed going to the local library to rent every dinosaur book they had available. Kash's parents, Ace and Regina believe in feeding all of their children's interest, so when Kash was old enough, they started taking family fieldtrips to learn more. For Kash's 9th birthday he was surprised with a trip to the Museum of Natural History in New York. It was an amazing experience! Kash's future plans include joining Storm Soccer and more paleontology digs, more museums, and eventually attending a University with an education in paleontology.
